Open channel with school - do you ask if school has filled internally?
Selling against yourself in this way - “have you looked at filling the role internally?” Makes absolute sense.
Some people think that it’s foolish to bring this up without being asked…but it’s silly to think they won’t have thought of this before. If you bring it up, they are more likely to tell you about the progress of this kind of idea.

Grading Jobs A-D - I would grade those based on who’s gonna give me an interview the quickest
I can give myself more of a structure - allocating time slots - application of pommodoro - management, sense
