Impact language is so powerful because it calls people to action.
It puts structure into how people communicate.
World leaders use it to mobilise their people.
We teach it to develop people’s communication skills in a classical way but with a fresh modern twist.
My inspiration for this session comes from when I worked at the Royal Shakespeare Company as a young performer.
I will always remember the life lessons I gained from watching and listening to experienced actors using language night after night.
I’ve carried those lessons through into my business life.
For me, it’s about understanding how people communicate now, using modern language, combined with classic style structures.
You’ve only got to look at the work of Alex Turner and many, many brilliant modern day lyricists to realise what has worked in story telling for thousands of years.
It’s the perfect combination.
